Attendees can submit portions of an unfinished fiction, nonfiction, or screenplay in advance of the conference for a read and review by professional agents and/or editors. This program is
a popular, cost-effective way to receive on-on-one constructive, professional
feedback on your manuscript to increase your chances for success.

1-on-1 ProConsultation Program
WC2 also offers ProConsultations,
which are an opportunity for attendees to consult with and pitch attending literary
agents, acquisition editors, agency scouts, and publishers in search of new talent. We even offer an informative seminar
with the "agents du jour" to help you prepare for an actual meeting.

How Do I Participate in these Programs?
For an Advanced Submission ProCritiques, you apply now, submit your work, pay the reading/consultation fee, then we will contact you to arrange the meeting. Virtual Events are conducted via zoom; In-Person events are conducted on-site at the event. Space is limited by the availability schedule of each agent, and the appointment calendar may be full after the first day. Yes, WC2 conference attendees have signed with literary agents and earned publishing deals.
Gold Member Luncheon
Gold Member attendee packages includes a meal with the literary agent, editor, or publisher of your choice. This is a one-hour relaxed social environment where you can learn more about an industry expert as well as more about the craft and/or business of writing from while you enjoy a complimentary menued lunch with beverages. There are typically 5-6 to a table. WC2 pays for your meal as a gold member at the table. Tips not included.
