ELAINE ASH edits fiction writers — from established authors to emerging talent. As the former editor-at-large for Beat to a Pulp e-zine, Elaine helped writers develop speculative and science fiction stories for publication, as well as crime, mystery, horror and humor.

Some of those writers went on to fame and fortune such as Hilary Davidson (Tor/Forge), Sophie Littlefield (Minotaur, Delacorte), Chris F. Holm (Angry Robot,, Mulholland), Frank Bill (Farrar Strauss Giroux) Patti Abbott (Polis), Jay Stringer (Thomas and Mercer) and many more.

Elaine Ash Books is her latest venture. The imprint produced WALKING THE DUNES WITH TENNESSEE WILLIAMS, a first-person memoir, written by Mia Phoebus at 93 years young. Distribution is worldwide through Walmart, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon. Elaine managed the book from initial concept through editing, design, artwork, photography curation, and Create Space paperback production. The EA imprint produces art quality hardcovers, trade paperbacks, e-books and more.

Under the pen name “Anonymous-9,” Elaine writes the HARD BITE crime series for Down and Out Books. She originated the DREAMING DEEP horror series for Uncanny Books. Various awards include Spinetingler Magazine's Best Short Story on the Web 2009, and two Readers' Choice Awards from the House of Crime and Mystery, Canada.  HARD BITE was named one of the Top 5 Debut Novels by BOOKPEOPLE / MYSTERYPEOPLE in 2013.
