In an abundance of caution for the continued good health of our attendees, speakers, and staff, in view of the ongoing pandemic, WC2 has chosen to elevate this conference from a live, in-person event to a uniquely virtually environment where everyone can participate safely. (And the hotels in California are still not permitted to support such gatherings until a healthier and safer era arrives.)

So, unlike other events that try to offer a virtual program by simply moving everything on-line with concurrent, simultaneous multiple workshops on one weekend, WC2 will provide a unique, more personal reinvention with consecutive topics with a full day on each Saturday and Sunday, plus 3-5 hours each night on weekdays so, you can safely enjoy the entire event from your home or office. Now, you can take advantage of every topic, every workshop, every opportunity to meet and pitch agents, editors, publishers, and industry professionals, and much more.

• The event will be conducted via Zoom Webinars and Meetings, using your web browser and simple, free software. (Chrome or Firefox preferred)

• The 1-on-1 pitch sessions with literary agents, editors, and publishers will be remain confidential meetings where no one else can hear your conversation

• The software is FREE to YOU. So, instead of missing 2/3 of the workshops as happens with live multi-track events, you will be able to take advantage of EVERYTHING.

• Plus, you will receive a reusable swag bag with pens, literature, and other goodies by mail. We can only hope for post office delivery in a timely manner.

While we all miss that in-person connection and networking experience, one real benefit for attendees is that agents and notable speakers who will currently not travel or appear in public, are willing to appear and speak on a virtual platform. Thus, we will continue to add new faculty to our roster for each event, which promises to be impressive for all.
